How to get lots of crawlers

Sure there’ll be 20,000 people downtown on crawl night, but crawlers still have lots of choices. We’ve got a lot of new bars, and some who are already with us have been asking how to attract crawlers, so here’s a list of tips:

  • Promote your involvement in the crawl heavily: the bars who get the most traffic post daily on Facebook and other social media
  • Get Involved: go to our Facebook page and group and interact with crawlers
  • Offer more than just drink specials: Book an interesting act, hire a makeup artist, invent zombie speed dating- crawlers can tell the bars who do the bare minimum
  • If you host a contest, make it good: Host your contest on time and come up with enticing prizes. Some bars get prizes from their distributor

This year more than ever before we’ll be letting crawlers know of all the awesome stuff you have in store for them. Maps will be printed by next week, so we’ll have as much time as possible to promote your attractions, both in print and online.
