New Location, New Experience for Families & Crawlers!
The Reno Zombie Crawl’s pre-event, the Thriller Dance, is moving to Greater Nevada Field, home of the Reno Aces!
What started with a few people practicing in a living room has turned into a huge family friendly way for all ages to take part in the festivities on the day of the Zombie Crawl, and Greater Nevada Field offers us the chance to evolve even further!

Responding to some of the feedback we’ve gotten over the years, we decided to move the dance in order to make it more of a spot for families to hang out longer! This way Mom and Dad can bring their kids to dance, grab some beers and food, go through the haunted house and either grab a sitter and enjoy the crawl or take part in it right at the stadium!
Thriller Timeline
The Thriller Dance has happened in several different places since the first Reno Zombie Crawl in 2008:

- 2009: Empty Lot by Wild River Grille
- 2010: City Plaza
- 2011: Re-Trac Cover
- 2012: Reno Arch
- 2013: Reno Arch
- 2014: Reno Arch
- 2015: Reno Arch
- 2016: Greater Nevada Field
Our new location allows for even MORE dancers than before and more spectators, so we hope to see as many of you as possible come out on October 22nd so we can reach our goal of 1,000 dancers!
