In order to make sure all venues pass any compliance requirements during the event, we have created this page, the form below and our upcoming Zoom meeting on Thursday, October 13th!
Please fill out the form by midnight on Wednesday, October 12th so that we have that information before the meeting.
COORDINATION & COMPLIANCE MEETING 10.13.22
The meeting will take place via zoom starting at 1:00 PM and will go for approximately half an hour. Representatives from Reno Police Department, Code Enforcement and Business Licensing will each provide short presentations and will cover topics such as:
- How to make sure your bar passes any compliance checks (AKA stings) which may take place
- How to avoid any code violations (make sure to clean the area around your venue after you close)
- Any concerns the City of Reno wishes us to focus on
- Any questions you have for the City of Reno (we end each presentation with Q&A)
If you venue has participated in previous Zombie Crawls then you are already familiar with this meeting as it will involve the same agencies and format as previous meetings.
Please have at least ONE representative from your venue attend the meeting.

LINE MANAGEMENT PLAN
As we area all familiar, on crawl nights the higher traffic can sometimes mean venues will have a line to get in. We are asking every venue to submit a basic (you don’t have to get too fancy, but please describe your plans for the evening) line management plan.
PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW DRINKING IN LINE
In addition you may have noticed that the “Line Up Here” posters this year include the text “No Drinking In Line.” RPD has requested that we have crawlers refrain from drinking while in line to get into venues. Please make sure that staff enforces this to the best of your abilities as it helps everyone.
