The annual Reno Zombie Crawl will return on Saturday, October 22nd with some major new changes like starting by the Reno Arch for a massive group photo, adding a new neighborhood and
This year the event will not only take place Downtown Reno but also extend to the Brewery District. Along with specials, participating bars have also planned extra features such as a full outdoor electronic dance music production at Dead Ringer, custom giveaways at Pizza Reno, black-light zombie pool at Red Rock, life-size outdoor games at The Eddy and a special zombie prom at Reno Axe and Social.
Participants to this event, just like many of Reno’s world-famous bar crawls, can count on 37 different venues filled with thousands of warm, friendly costumed revelers. In addition they can stretch their dollars by saving money on hotel rooms, drinks and food, and they won’t have to worry about paying cover charges because crawlers don’t have to.
One of the largest bar crawls in the nation with the most participating bars, the Zombie Crawl has been named by USA Today as one of the 10 best costumed Halloween parties in the nation and by Redbook as the number one way to celebrate Halloween in Nevada.
In order to participate in this 21 and over event, anyone interested is encouraged to visit event sponsor Junkee Clothing Exchange to purchase up a crawl cup. Full information including ordering online can be found here.
This year’s sponsors also include the Finnish favorite Long Drink, Kraken Rum, Reno Tahoe, Nevada’s Zero Fatalities initiative, and THE ROW. Organizers ask that all participants follow traffic signals when crossing the street, observe Reno’s laws prohibiting bringing open containers of alcohol outside and make plans to not drive.
