Aether Brigade Improv Troupe

The Aether Brigade is a group of comedians and artists from the Bay Area, California, who work to create an interactive experience. In addition to working together to create our outlandish props and unusual costumes, our performers utilize a technique inspired by Commedia dell’arte: the characters have established relationships that inform sketch comedy and the occasional improv.

Their aim is to give you a fantastic experience: we want you to meet some time travelers from the 19th Century, let you touch their outlandish equipment and ask them any questions you might have, all while making you laugh! All of the artists involved in the project are natural comedians and we entertain as well give you a sense that you have met heroes who have stepped out of the pages of an adventure storybook. Visit for more info on the group.

Brass Band: UNR Cadet Band

Established in 1896, the Original UNR Cadet Band was the first known formal music ensemble at the University of Nevada. Known for their ability quickly gather for spontaneous events, The Cadet Band made appearances at every parade, football game, and important events that happened on the University of Nevada campus.

In 2014 and in commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the Statehood of the State of Nevada, 118 years after the first formation of the Nevada Cadet Band, several music students under the current Director of Bands at the University of Nevada reestablished the band with the intension of preserving the history of the Nevada Corps of Cadets and music at the University of Nevada. The Cadet Band functions now as a historical preservation project Nevada performing for historical events locally and abroad. With the determination of students, staff, and local community members this Reborn Legacy will always remain a historical icon at the University of Nevada. Visit for more info on the band.

Reno, NV, the Crawl Capital of the World

Over the last decade, Reno, Nevada has developed into the best place to party. The city has over 50 bars in walking distance, plenty of hotel casinos to stay the night, lots of clubs and restaurants, as well as three words that make it better than your city: NO LAST CALL.

On top of all of that Reno has a laid back culture and great art/entertainment scene bolstered by being the gateway to Burning Man and you understand why tens of thousands of people flock to the Biggest Little City to attend costumed bar crawls dressed as Zombies, Santas, Leprechauns, Pirates, Superheroes and more.

You may think you know how to go out and have an epic night, but until you’ve partied in Reno you haven’t really scratched the surface. That’s why everyone who comes out to crawl here comes back again and again.
